While we’re all at home in these times of mass quarantine, in a strange way many of us parents are busier than ever! After you’ve survived weeks of homeschooling and exploring your creative side for fun and character-building activities for your little ones, we’re here to remind you that a little bit of ‘quiet’ is fine too. And we’ve got just the thing for enjoying quality family time…
Here, we help you create a drive-in movie experience that you and the kids will love.
Cozy up with Cozy
Recreate a night at the drive-in movies for a memorable evening they’ll treasure for a while. Let them grab the popcorn and snuggle under a blanket in front of the TV – in their Cozy Coupe©! Our famous red and yellow car (and the varying models) has everything they need – a drink holder, comfy seating and a horn to honk at their favourite film moments!
If your little one doesn’t have a Cozy Coupe©, the good news is this present another opportunity to get crafty – help them turn carboard boxes into cars! The only limit here is their imagination…
Let your child colour the car in with felt tips or decorate however they want! Add paper plates for the wheels and steering wheel and they’re all set!
Don’t forget the popcorn!
Make sure you’ve got all their favourite movie treats to hand, including a big bowl of yummy popcorn! But make it that bit more special and create your own popcorn box! This easy peasy activity only requires our simple template below, some scissors, glue and felt tips or crayons. Download and print off the template, stick it to some cardboard, colour it in and cut it along the lines, before piecing together along the folds. Enjoy your popcorn!
All that’s left to do is let the family know all about the screening! Download our cute invitation below for your little movie buff to hand around the house!
We’d love to see photos from your movie drive-in night – whether the kids are in their Cozy Coupe© or showing off their comfy cardboard car creations! Send us your pictures on Instagram using #littletikesaus
